Rep. Lipinski: Only Illinois Democrat Keystone pipeline yes vote

WASHINGTON — Rep. Dan Lipinski, D-Ill., was the only Illinois Democrat to vote for the Keystone Pipeline when the controversial project came up for a vote on Friday. Lipinski was one of 31 Democrats to vote yes. No Republican voted no.

The measure passed on a 252-161 roll call.

Twenty lawmakers did not vote, including from Illinois: Democrats Rep. Tammy Duckworth, who cannot travel, expecting baby any day; Rep. Cheri Bustos and Rep. Bill Enyart.
