A man accidentally shot himself in the leg Sunday night in West Englewood, police said.

About 10:30 p.m., the 18-year-old was shot in the leg, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said. He was taken in good condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn

Based on witness reports, the shooting appeared to be self-inflicted, police said.
