Man shot outside party in West Englewood

A man showed up to a hospital after being shot early Sunday in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 25-year-old man was at a party about 12:45 a.m. in the 5900 block of South Elizabeth when he stepped outside, heard gunshots ring out and felt pain, police said.

The man was shot in the leg and took himself to Saint Bernard Hospital. He was later transported to Stroger Hospital where his condition had stabilized, police said.
