An 18-year-old woman was shot in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side late Friday.

She was in the passenger seat of a car about 11:50 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Kimbark when someone shot her in the leg, police said.

The driver took her to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center, where police said her condition was stabilized.
