A man was critically wounded in a West Englewood shooting Saturday morning.

Someone on a bicycle shot the 28-year-old in the face and back about 10:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of South Laflin, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said, citing preliminary information.

He ran a block west to Ashland, called for help and was taken to a hospital in critical condtion, Sedevic said.
