Man shot in Austin

A man was shot in the West Side Austin neighborhood Monday night.

About 10:10 p.m., the 22-year-old was in the 5200 block of West Adams when two males approached and fired shots at him, police said.

The man was shot in his wrist, abdomen and lower chest, and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
