Saying New York Mets slugger Daniel Murphy is experiencing a resurgence in his career is proving to be a bit of an understatement.
The 30-year-old mashed a home run Tuesday to put the Mets on top of the Cubs 2-1. It was Murphy’s fifth straight game that he hit a ball over the outfield wall.
