The Atlantic recently published a story about Jeb Bush and why he should spend more time emulating his father, George H., instead of defending his brother, George W.
One of the photos in the article shows a young Jeb in a Cubs jacket on a boat in 1989 with his brother and dad, both decked out in Texas Rangers caps.

It does seem a bit odd that Jeb would be wearing a Cubs jacket. Then again in 2003, he did offer Steve Bartman asylum in Florida after the Cubs lost to the Marlin in the NLCS. But a closer look at the embroidery reveals the jacket actually belonged to his dad when he was vice president.
Still, that hasn’t stopped social media from joking about Jeb’s allegiance to the Cubs.
@UniWatch of course, Jeb is wearing the Cubs merch because he knows the disparity of losing

@jonathanalter and the Cubs 2016 predictions are far more promising than Jeb's...

Not sure when George W. got the jacket, but it might have been from when his boss and one-time Cubs announcer, Ronald Reagan, threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field in 1988.
