An 80-year-old man was struck and killed by a snow plow while clearing his driveway Tuesday morning in north suburban Morton Grove.

Augustino Comella fell and was struck by the plow in his driveway in the 9200 block of Ozark Street about 9:20 a.m., according to Morton Grove police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Comella was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:37 a.m., according to police and the medical examiner’s office.

An accident reconstruction team responded to the scene and is investigating the crash, according to police.
