Jawon Sellers, of the 10100 block of South La Salle, was charged with one count of felony burglary, according to Chicago Police.
Sellers allegedly was part of a group that crashed a minivan into the Best Buy store in the 2600 block of North Clark a few minutes before 5 a.m. on Jan. 4 and got away with several items, police said.
Several males got out of the van, went into the store and stole various items before running away, police said.
It wasn’t clear whether the robbery was connected to a series of other crash-and-grab burglaries in the Chicago area over the past several months.
A judge on Sunday set Sellers’ bail at $150,000, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office. He is due back in court on Wednesday.
