SHARE Police warn of armed robberies in Humboldt Park

Police issued an alert Thursday warning Humboldt Park residents of two recent armed robberies in the West Side neighborhood.

Between two and three suspects approach a victim, pull out a handgun and demand property, according to the community alert from Area Central detectives.

The robberies happened about 11:15 p.m. Feb. 28 in the 900 block of North California; and about 12:30 a.m. March 11 in the 1100 block of North California, police said.

The suspects are described as between two and three Hispanic men between 20-28, police said. One of the suspects is about 4-foot-4 and 160 pounds.
