A California jogger was struck and injured by a car driven by rocker David Crosby at significant speed, according to multiple reports.

TV station KEYT near Santa Inez, Calif., where Crosby lives, reported that Jose Jimenez, 46, was jogging when he was struck by a 2015 Black Tesla driven by Crosby on Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Crosby’s vehicle was traveling at 55 miles an hour, the posted speed on the road.

Jimenez was knocked down and suffered multiple fractures, abrasions and lacerations. He was airlifted to a hospital in Santa Barbara, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Investigators said Crosby, 73, may have been unable to see Jiminez in the roadway because of sun glare. He stopped immediately to offer aid following the collision.

The musician, who battled drug problems during his big-time rock-star days, was not impaired by alcohol or drugs, according to investigators.

Crosby is scheduled to perform with longtime bandmates Stephen Stills and Graham Nash in May 5 and 6 concerts at the Chicago Theatre.
