GIRLS SOCCER

Aurora Central 4, Ridgewood 0 – Amanda Scarpitti and Jordyn Sundberg had a goal each in the shutout win for the Chargers (7-2). Sabrina Dudziak and Gina Cortino contributed with a goal and assist each.

Benet 3, Nazareth 0 – Loretta Elder had a goal and an assist in the conference victory for the Redwings (9-0-1, 4-0 East Suburban Catholic). Jacquie Kaufman and Kerry Abello also each scored a goal in the shutout.

Lane 4, Oswego East 1 – Detzi Revelez led the Indians (8-4) with two goals in their victory. Sophia Pavon and Kinu Mrozik were the other two goal scores.

Neuqua Valley 1, Naperville Central 0 – Anna Toersloev scored the only goal for the Wildcats in their shutout win.

St. Charles North 3, Warren 1 – The North Stars improved to 6-2-1 after Gia Wahlburg scored two goals, and Hanna Durocher made a goal and an assist in the win. Leanne Stahulak finished with nine saves in goal.

DEKALB

Yorkville 2, Belvidere North 2 – The Foxes (2-2-2) walked away with a draw after a goal and assist by Sarah Megazzini and goal from Peyton Willie.

Yorkville 4, Sterling 0 – Peyton Willie finished with her first varsity hat trick in the shutout win for the Foxes. Sarah Megazzini had a direct kick goal for the other score at the DeKalb Barbfest Tournament.

JOHNSBURG

Grayslake North 4, Harlem 1 – Sammie Villwock and Sydney Paez each had two goals to gain the victory for the Knights (9-0-2). Abby Rice allowed only one goal while making four saves.

Grayslake North 7, Rockford Auburn 0 – Jocelyn Rodriguez led the Knights (8-0-2) in their shutout win with two goals and two assists. Meghan McCue provided a goal and an assist while Corryn Smith and Lauren Davis added to the scoreboard as well with two goals each.

PEPSI SHOWDOWN

New Trier 4, Hinsdale Central 1, semifinals – Kelly Maday led the Trevians (11-0) in their semifinal win at the Pepsi Showdown with a goal and an assist to remain undefeated.

Leyden 3, Solorio 0 – Rosalia Trupiano, Elisa Roa and Mayra Salinas were the goal scorers for the Eagles in their shutout win. Michelle Andrade made an assist.

Young 2, Jacobs 1 – Gaby Schwartz and Esme Kline scored and assisted each other in the win for the Dolphins (5-6-2).

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Stevenson d. Highland Park 25-22, 25-13 – Grant Maleski led the Patriots in kills with 11 and also had two assists in their victory at the Lake County Invite at Grant. Eric Zalewski made 20 assists, and Luke Feder finished with seven digs and four assists.
