SHARE Police warn of armed robberies in Wicker Park

Police issued an alert after a pair of recent armed robberies in the Wicker Park neighborhood.

The robberies occurred near the area of Milwaukee and Division or Milwaukee and Ashland, according to a statement from Chicago Police.

In each incident, two men displayed a handgun or knife and took money.

The robberies occurred:

  • 4:30 a.m. April 12 in the 1200 block of North Bosworth
  • 12:45 a.m. April 26 in the 1200 block of North Ashland

The suspects are about 35 to 40 years old, about 6-foot-2 and 250 pounds, police said.
