2 shot on Far South Side

Two people were injured in an Altgeld Gardens neighborhood shooting on the Far South Side Friday night.

The males were shot about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of 130th Street and Greenwood Avenue, according to preliminary information from police.

They were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with injuries that weren’t thought to be life-threatening, police said.
