A man was critically wounded in a shooting in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side Friday night.

About 10:50 p.m., the 25-year-old was standing outside in the 7400 block of South Wentworth when he was shot in the head, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
