Woman, 58, shot in Ashburn

A 58-year-old woman was shot while riding in a vehicle in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side Tuesday night.

About 8:35 p.m., the woman was in a vehicle in the 3600 block of West 85th Place when someone in a nearby SUV shot her in the neck and cheek, police said.

She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he condition had stabilized, police said.
