SHARE Police: Man shot to death while driving in Humboldt Park

A man was shot to death Sunday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side, police said.

The 20-year-old was driving in the 3300 block of West Division about 4 p.n. when shots when a dark-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside fired shots, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

He was shot in the chest and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
