A 47-year-old man walked into a River North McDonalds pleading for help after he was stabbed Sunday morning.

About 5:30 a.m., the man got into an argument with someone he knew in the 600 block of North Clark when the other man displayed a knife and then stabbed him twice in the back, police said.

The man then walked into a nearby McDonalds seeking help and was later taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
