Man hurt in Woodlawn shooting

A man was shot multiple times early Tuesday in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

The 34-year-old man was standing in the street in the 1400 block of East 66th Place about 12:30 a.m. when a light-colored SUV drove up and someone inside fired at him, police said.

The man was shot in the leg and buttocks and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.
