A woman faces prostitution charges after police, investigating resident complaints, conducted an undercover operation at a massage parlor in west suburban Geneva on Tuesday.

Police investigated the Foot and Body Massage at 629 W. State St. in Geneva early Tuesday afternoon after receiving complaints from two citizens of “possible suspicious activity,” a statement from Geneva police said.

After determining there was alleged “illegal activity taking place in the massage parlor,” police arrested an employee of the massage parlor — 39-year-old Lifa Jiang of Aurora — on prostitution charges, the statement said.

After arresting Jiang, police executed a search warrant at the business, seizing several items. The nature of the seized items was not disclosed as the investigation is ongoing, police said

Jiang was charged with one misdemeanor count of prostitution, and is next scheduled to appear in court June 16 in St. Charles.
