SHARE 17-year-old boy shot in West Englewood

A 17-year-old boy was shot Monday morning in West Englewood.

The teen was walking in the 6600 block of South Laflin about 10:45 a.m. when the gunman got out of a green vehicle and opened fire, police said.

The victim was shot in the right foot and taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.

The gunman got back in the vehicle and drove off and after the shooting.
