Man shot in Brainerd drive-by

A man was hurt in a drive-by shooting Friday night in the South Side Brainerd neighborhood.

The 22-year-old was standing on the street at 9:30 p.m. in the 9400 block of South Elizabeth when someone fired shots out of a passing gray car, police said.

The man was shot in the buttocks and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
