Man shot in Douglas

A man was shot in the South Side Douglas neighborhood Sunday night.

The 37-year-old was walking on a sidewalk in the 3600 block of South Rhodes at 7:50 p.m. when a black SUV pulled up, and someone inside fired shots, Chicago Police said. The SUV then drove off.

The man, shot in the side, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.
