Zoe Kravitz’s career is going like gangbusters, thanks to such high-profile films as the “Divergent” franchise and “Mad Max,” plus critical praise for her performances in films like “Good Kill” starring Ethan Hawke.

Now the actress will be strapping on a pair of six-shooters to play the title role in “Black Belle” — a film about a gun-slinging hit-woman in the days of the American Old West.

According to Deadline.com, the film will begin principal photography in September. It’s a tale about a female bounty hunter who specializes in revenge killing. When a client provides her with the details of her mother’s murderer, things turn dicey when Kravitz’s character realizes the true identity of the alleged killer.

Kravitz next will be seen in the dramedy “Dope,” opening June 19.
