A 28-year-old man was shot to death in west suburban Maywood early Sunday, police said.

At 3:41 a.m., officers called to the 1700 block of St. Charles Road found Michael Brandon unresponsive on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement from Maywood police.

Brandon, a Maywood resident, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:25 a.m., police said.
