There is a uniform image in the public’s mind of what Michael Jordan’s famous shot over Craig Ehlo in the 1989 Eastern Conference playoffs looks like.
“The Shot” has been replayed countless times from the angles seen here:
But a recent video, appearing to be footage from CBS 2 Chicago, shows Jordan’s famous shot from the baseline along with the original stadium noise from court level at the Coliseum at Richfield.
Deadspin appears to have posted a similar video to its website two years ago, but the video was taken down due to a copyright claim.
But it has resurfaced, at least for now, on social media.
