A man was shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side Monday night.

About 10:40 p.m., the 28-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 500 block of North Kedzie when another male walked up and shot in the in the right wrist and right thigh, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
