Two shot in Englewood

A man and woman were shot in the Englewood neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

About 1:50 p.m., the two were sitting on a porch in the 7200 block of South Peoria when a male walked up and shot them, police said.

The woman, 18, was shot in the right ankle while the man, 28, was shot in the buttocks, police said.

Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions had stabilized, police said.
