Missing South Shore girl reunited with family

An 11-year-old girl who went missing Saturday from the South Shore neighborhood has been found safely.

Briana Turner had last been seen in the 7000 block of South Merrill, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

She has since been reunited with her family, police announced Sunday afternoon. No other details were released.
