SHARE Police: Man fatally shot in Pullman

A man was fatally shot in the Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side Monday.

The 39-year-old man was shot in the 1000 block of East 100th Place at 4:37 p.m., police said.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was later pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the death.

The shooting is believed to be drug related, police said.
