In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at BET’s “Love and Happiness: A Musical Experience” on the South Lawn. The First Lady will also attend. There will be pooled press coverage of the President’s remarks and the first song.

The court in the Moscow suburb of Khimki extended Griner’s detention for another six months after she appeared for a preliminary hearing held behind closed doors.
