3 shot in North Lawndale

Three men were shot Monday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

Shortly before 4 p.m., they were in a vehicle in the 1300 block of South Central Park Avenue when someone outside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

A 22-year-old man shot in the side and grazed in the face was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, as was a 32-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the back and hip, police said.

The third man, 26, was shot in the buttocks and foot. He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
