An Arizona man has been charged with DUI after striking two pedestrians with his pickup Sunday night in northwest suburban McHenry, according to police.

Richard Victor Mure, 69, was driving a black 1997 Ford F-150 pickup at Riverside Drive and Pearl Street at 9:11 p.m. when he struck two pedestrians, according to a statement from McHenry police.

The pedestrians, a 23-year-old woman and 30-year-old man, were taken to Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center, where their conditions stabilized, police said.

Police said both were in the crosswalk when they were struck.

Mure, of Kirkand, Arizona, was charged with DUI and failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
