A woman is being treated for potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in west suburban Naperville on Monday morning.

Around 6:58 a.m. a 17-year-old driver lost control of a white Jeep Grand Cherokee while driving east on Warrenville Road, and the SUV struck a 37-year-old Joliet woman, who was walking west on the parkway, Naperville police said.

The woman was transported by the Naperville Fire Department paramedics to Edward Hospital for treatment of possibly life-threatening injuries, police said

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information should call the Traffic Unit at (630) 305-5379.
