Man shot in face in Ashburn

A man was shot in the face Friday morning in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 25-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the face about 10:15 a.m. in the 8200 block of South Kedzie, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said. Further details were not immediately available.
