An elderly man who went missing Tuesday from the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side has been found safe.

James Peterson, 88, was last seen near the 3000 block of North Broadway before boarding a CTA bus going south on Broadway, according to missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Wednesday morning that Peterson was found safe with a relative.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
