The Cook County sheriff’s office is searching for a 16-year-old girl who has been reported missing from northwest suburban Des Plaines.

Guadalupe Sanchez was reported missing Tuesday, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

She was described as a 5-foot-6, 140-pound girl with shoulder length black hair, braces and a pierced nose, the sheriff’s office said. She also has a tattoo on her left bicep and behind her right ear.
