A funeral for 15-year-old Javon Wilson, a grandson of U.S. Rep. Danny Davis, will be held Saturday, the congressman’s office said.

A wake for Wilson will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Carey Tercentenary AME Church, 1448 S. Homan Ave. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., according to Davis’ spokeswoman, Tumia Romero.

Wilson was shot to death Friday at his home in the 5600 block of South Princeton, authorities said. Tariq Harris, 16, and Dijae Banks, 17, were charged as adults with first-degree murder and home invasion Both were denied bail Sunday.
