A man was shot and seriously wounded Sunday morning in the River North neighborhood.

At 6:06 a.m., the 32-year-old was approached in the 600 block of North Clark by a person on a bicycle who shot him in the abdomen, Chicago Police said. The man ran into a nearby hotel after the shooting looking for help.

He was taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
