A man was shot Friday evening in a West Side Austin neighborhood gas station.

At 5:43 p.m., the 26-year-old man was in a gas station in the 5000 block of West Division when someone walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to West Suburban Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
