A boy was shot Friday afternoon in the Calumet Heights neighborhood on the South Side.

At 2:05 p.m., the 16-year-old was in the 2000 block of East 95th Street when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Trinity Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
