No one was seriously injured when a truck crashed into a house Monday morning in west suburban Winfield.

The truck slid off the road into a house in the 28w000 block of Roosevelt Road in unincorporated Winfield about 6 a.m., according to the DuPage County sheriff’s office.

The driver was taken to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield with minor injuries, according to the sheriff’s office. No one inside the home was injured.

The DuPage County Building and Zoning department has been called to see if the home in inhabitable, according to the sheriff’s office.
