Burglaries reported on West Side

Police are warning residents of home burglaries in the last week in the Wicker Park and West Town neighborhoods on the West Side.

The burglaries occurred:

at 3 p.m. Feb. 21 in the 1000 block of North Winchester Avenue;
at 4 p.m. Feb. 22 in the 1000 block of North Oakley Boulevard; and
at 4 p.m. Feb. 25 in the 2000 block of West Division Street.

The suspect or suspects entered the homes through an unlocked door or by force and took items, police said.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8382.
