A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting late Monday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 18-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of North LeClaire when a blue van drove by and someone inside fired shots at him, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the hand and taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was listed in good condition, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
