A 14-year-old north suburban girl who was missing from her home for more than a week has been found safe.

Jolynn J. Sanders was last seen April 1 walking out of her home in Wadsworth, according to the Lake County sheriff’s office.

She was returned home safely Monday, the sheriff’s office said.
