A man was shot Wednesday in the South Side Chatham neighborhood.

The 18-year-old was walking in the 700 block of East 89th Street at 4:39 p.m. when shots rang out from someone sitting in a car parked in an alley, police said.

The man was shot in the left knee, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was listed in good condition.
