Three business burglaries were reported early Thursday in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Someone saw a suspect running from a business in the 2400 block of North Clark Street about 4:30 a.m. and called 911, according to Chicago Police.

Officers responded and discovered two businesses on that block, and another on the 2500 block of North Clark, had been burglarized.

Items from the businesses were found discarded in the neighborhood, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
