A man has been charged with DUI after a car and a pickup truck crashed into separate buildings Sunday night in the Belmont Gardens neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Marlin Castellano, 37, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, one misdemeanor count of driving without a license, and he was cited for failing to reduce his speed, according to Chicago Police. He lives in the 2000 block of North Kilbourn.

The white Ford pickup was traveling westbound about 10:25 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Fullerton Avenue when it struck the side of a Nissan sedan, according to Chicago Police.

The Nissan crashed into the Fullerton Animal Clinic, 4303 W. Fullerton, and the truck crashed into the Immigration Law Office, 4305 W. Fullerton, police said.

No injuries were reported, police said.
