A 39-year-old man was shot in the right leg as he walked in the 2200 block of South Kirkland Avenue in North Lawndale around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Another man had been shot and wounded the night before in the same West Side block.

The man wounded Saturday was in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, the police said.
